That was the same response when I bought my first XJ oil filter. Coming from VR6 maintenance, it felt like it was free. I think it was like $3 vs $25 for the OEM VW Mann one.
I'll echo others that I've always used the Mann HU 925/4x and they've never given me any trouble for fitment or function.
I, along with other owners have tried many oil filters, but the MANN ones seem to be the best.
I've been using Mann filters, have been to last 9 years.
we could just use the **proper OEM standard** Mann oil filter on an *s engine* to avoid filter collapse
I\u2019ve used a Mann filter for my vehicle and change it out every 2500 miles and it comes out pristine!
I replaced the Mann filter on my Golf 6. It was easy to install and the quality is excellent.
It’s the bigger filter recommended for the Audi/vw 1.8t to prevent sludge buildup.
Wrong filter? 2002 r53 S used Mann HU 815 /2x
