Starter motor OEM Subaru or AC DELCO
My buddy has an earlier outback that came with that system. She’s got a lot of miles and honestly it’s totally fine. The one thing is that it does tend to start HARD. It cranks that sucker over like it owes it money
For anyone having this issue with a 454 7.4L Big Block Chevy Starter; PLEASE get a NEW ACDELCO starter with brand new knurled bolts from NAPA. I’ve had this side for months where my starter pinion would get stuck to my flywheel and grind till my flywheel shaved.
I went through 3 autozone starters in a year one ac Delco 4 years ago and it's still starts easy and quiet
I took the car to the dealership and they said it needs a new starter. It’s being covered under warranty.
Went with the ACDelco, and it starts great! No grinding or clunking, so it didn't need to be shimmed. Thank you all for the assistance!
Took me 20 minutes to install. High quality. Zero problems.
My buddy has gone through 3 starters on his crosstrek, all under warranty, because of the auto stop.
My CPO Base Impreza 2019, with 26k miles, wouldn’t start. The starter motor failed and that part is out of warranty. I was just pissed because I had the car for less than 2 years.
My 2018 started having starter issue at around 40k.
I have had intermittent issues with a cold start where it would need to crank for much longer than seemed appropriate.
