Tires Kumho or OEM FORD
Swapped the 21’s and summer tires off my summit reserve for 18” XDs and Kumho Venture with a 3 peak mountain snowflake rating. Had 10” of snow and didn’t bat an eye in snow mode.
Kumho - superior value and great handling.
I had bought the Ford 9000 a little before that mission and I used it to take the trailer to the oil rig thinking "I'll get like half way there before getting stuck or flipping". I only had all terrain tires and the best engine. Suspension and transmission stock but she handled it beautifully.
I’ve done tires, tint, rust proofing (fluid film), dash cam, tailgate assist, and a few other minor things I may be forgetting.
Kumho ecsta sport S. Huge improvement
I got 275 and use to have pirellis now I got kumhos they don’t spin as much as the pirellis from a straight dig I use to fish tail hard when my foot was deep in the pedal I recommend kumhos and falkens they straight
On my last car Michelin Pilot Sport 4S lasted ~20k but that's kind of expected due to how soft they are. On my current I have Kumho Ecsta Sport and they have lasted about the same but instead of wear being the issue they're cracking/tearing.
Depends on what your tires are and size. If you don't wana wreck leave traction control and such on. Of course around turns you can still wreck. And rwd cars around turns that are wet etc are easy for the rear and to let go
Boils my piss when I see people walking into tyre shops and just asking for the cheapest they have. It vaporises my shit when it's clearly a family car with child seats in the back. Why would you cheap out on keeping your kids safe?
Do not get this. Tire is good enough with handling but it eas worn down to 4/32 within 25k miles. Hp71 was what i had.
