Have an 07 Silverado bought new first oil change switched over to Mobil one used that until one of the hurricanes hit Louisiana and started having a problem getting it so switched over to Pennzoil full synthetic. Truck has 368000 on it and seems to be still going strong so I’d say it’s your choice.
Reviews of spare parts for Chevrolet Silverado
Put 306k miles in 13 years, on my brand new '07 Silverado 1/2 Ton before I sold it to a mechanic at my preferred shop (leak in the fuel system/tank that was going to require removing the bed etc).\n\nPrior to that issue, I never had a single thing go wrong with it. Tires, brake pads (original set lasted 200k miles), oil/tranny fluid changes, air filters, wiper blades, were all it ever needed.
I've been running Coopers for almost 30 years, currently have them on my Silverado and getting ready to put another set on my Tahoe.
I can usually get 50k out of a set.
The ride is nice.
The price is right.
I like these tires so far. Have them on my silverado. I don't do much off-roading, but they eat rain for breakfast, and do decently well in snow
I know it’s not a diesel….but I used it in my 98’ Silverado with 425k that’s had pretty good maintenance over the years, and after 20 minutes of idle, the brown oil came out almost pitch black. Wasn’t a miracle fix for anything, but I’d say it did remove some old sludge from some nooks and crannies in my old 350
I have em on my Silverado - they have held up well.
When my truck wouldn\u2019t start after a jump\u2026 it was the starter 2019 Silverado ld 70,000 miles on it
They're saying the timing chain is stretched so it needs a new one and manifold gaskets.
I had the Fox 2.0’s and the shock shaft wore through the top mounting plate.
I bought moog and had to replace two of the ball joints a year later.
