Pennzoil Ultra Platinum + Bosch 3330 @ 7500 mile interval
On my recent rear brake job on the Mazda5 I ordered Bosch pads through Amazon. They seem to be doing the job and I have no complaints.
I just picked these up a few days ago and have been really impressed with them.
It is a low viscosity brake fluid though, so that's interesting, and says it's compatible with brake systems as far back as the 1990s so should be fine in our cars. Mine turns off now in about 5 seconds. Bosch ESI6 is the next generation brake fluid. It exceeds all current DOT standard requirements (FMVSS 116) First to simultaneously combine both low viscosity and high wet boiling point at its operation ESI coverage includes the majority of all brake systems launched since 1990; Use with DOT 3, DOT 4, or DOT 5.1; Coverage excludes DOT 5 silicone based brake fluid which is limited to military and racing applications Excellent lubricity properties to prevent wear of components in the brake system and reduce noise Longer lasting: 100% longer than DOT 3, 50% longer than DOT 4, and 10% longer than DOT 5.1 (with 30% lower viscosity) Wet boiling point ~ 365 DegreeF/Viscosity at -40 DegreeC ~ 670mm2/s One size fits all: As Bosch ESI6 can be used to substitute almost any brake system launched since 1990 Bosch ESI6 helps reduce the stock of brake fluids thus saving storage space Featuring replacement intervals of 3 years Bosch ESI6 reduces corrosion
I use the Bosch brake fluid and have been happy with its boiling temp, it’s availability and cost.
the Bosch icon blades are really good.
The car cranks like brand new with the new Bosch starter.
Bosch rebuilt alternators are like $175 online. Lots of people experienced low quality rebuilts. Have people had good luck with Bosch rebuilts?
God knows they can only be as bad as the Bosch plat +4's, Man those are terrible in basically everything I've put them in... good luck!
