Went to Autozone and purchased there Duralast platinum, full 5 year replacement warranty for around $145. I installed it myself and had to reset the windows. Great since.

I put some on our family's extra car, they actually stop the car way better than I thought.
Ive put them on countless cars that just see road use(Rears on my Civic currently are Duralast). I like buying from autozone bc you can order from site to store and use retailmenot coupons to save a bunch of money.
They are good pads for daily use. I would avoid the standard Duralast and get the Duralast Golds. They are not performance brakes so don't except them to be good if you taking the car to the track often. Plus the lifetime warranty is a pretty big plus. Free pair when you need to replace them.
Fine for daily driving. Have the mid-range ones on our Forester and it stops, doesn't squeal, and they've been lasting.
I use duralast on my last 3 vehicles no problem.
My 2.8-year old mk6 GTI OEM battery started to show signs of aging about a month ago. It took longer to start when the car is cold and finally it failed to start yesterday. I called VW roadside assistance, got a jump start and went to Autozone, bought a Duralast Platinum AGM battery with size H6/48 . More to follow after the pics.
2 weeks ago, my 120amp Bosch crapped out on my '95 GLX. Decided the Duralast route wasn't a bad direction, being it's actually an OEM Bosch alternator, that Duralast performs the remanufacture on, with their own regulator, brushes, and bearings. It was also stated that they had numerous testing fazes performed after the rebuild. I had a 25% off coupon, and $40 in Autozone credit points. Walked out with the alternator for around $90, being the 120amp alternators are more expensive. Took care of the install, started it, power held, and she ran beautiful. Then a few minutes later, I started to hear a bearing scream. Was worried it was the alternator, as that was the only factor that changed, aside from disengaging the tensionar pulley and removing the serpentine belt during the alternator installation. 2 days later, cars sitting there warming up, hear the RPM's start to change, the gauge cluster display starts to dim, the door chime weakens out, and the car dies. Wouldn't you know, that Duralast alternator **** the bed with less than 10 miles on the rebuild.
ok, so found the problem. WATER PUMP BEARING SEIZED!! Duralast quality and so it ate the belt.
we see many 2 year old Duralast batteries that have failed.
