These Gabriels are tight. The rear feels a little on the stiff side, but they should soften in a couple thousand miles. They seem really well made, too. The shroud covering the piston seems stout and they came with nice bushings. The stock KYBs were absolutely shot, but they gave it their best try.

I bought the Gabriel Readymounts. No complaints
If you want a soft ride choose a Monroe or a Gabriel pre-loaded strut assembly.
I like Gabriel shocks. Gabriel offers one of the most extensive light vehicle product lines in the aftermarket. Not to mention the most durable, too
Personally I’ve had good luck with Gabriel ReadyMount (Nissan Maxima). I got about 90k miles out of one set and just replaced with the same brand.
For this project, I went for comfort, and these definitely delivered. It's cushy over bumps and dips in the road, and delivers a smoother ride.
Gabriel are quality parts, I put their struts on my LS400. It isn't going to make your ride worse, it'll make your ride more controlled, with less roll, squat or dive, as it isn't worn out.
Autozone for example will sell you Gabriel brand quick struts which are easy to install - but they are not exact replacements, usually they are too floaty.
Gabriel and Monroe shocks are super trash. You’ll be lucky if they last two years typically.
Depends on your priorities. I go KYB for a good mix. Monroe if I’m broke. Gabriel if I’m a masochist.
