Ich habe vor ein paar Tagen einen BMW E39 520i (Facelift, Baujahr 2002, M54-Motor, Schalter) gekauft. Soweit technisch guter Zustand, aber am zweiten Tag kam die Meldung „Kühlmittelstand prüfen“. Also habe ich mir das System angeschaut – hier meine Beobachtungen:

- Ich habe über zwei Tage verteilt ca. **2 Liter Glysantin G48** (50/50 premix) eingefüllt.

Pros: Kühlmittel nachgefüllt

Cons: Kühlmittelstand prüfen

Temperature stability:

PC water cooling stuff is just overpriced automotive stuff. I've been using Glysantin G48 for over 20 years and never had any issues. I never flushed the system, just refilled whenever I change the components, usually once in three years, and the occasional top-up.

Pros: no issues for years

I use glysantin g48 and I just got through the first bottle last year. Been using it for 12 years.
