Additionally, fill the big primary fuel filter (spin-on type) with Liqui Moly Diesel Puge and put the rest in the tank. This should boost the cetane rating and clean up your injectors if they’re gummed up.
So far all i’ve done is swap out fuel filter, ran liqui moly diesel cleaner and inspect for any debris ( found nothing that would indicate a HPFP failure.
Every other oil change I run a bottle of liqui molly diesel purge when I replace the fuel filter. Most reliable car I've ever had.
I poured in the whole bottle when changing fuel filters recently, and the engine seemed to run quieter with better fuel efficiency right afterward.
Ran a bottle of it through once, saw no difference.
