After more trouble shooting I felt that the alt needed replacing and not just the rebuild kit. After removing the unit (what a PITA)... Ended up buying a RMMAL00134 Reman by Magneti Marelli for around $140 after tax and shipping. Went in without any problems and completely fixed my issue.

My 2019 ram had that setup, I drove it for about 40,000 mi without fail. However, it did not seem to add any power nor did it make my MPG better.

Pros: drove without fail

Cons: no power increase

Mileage: 64373 km
