I went with the michelin defender ltx m/s on my 2016 with 22" rims. Been very satisfied so far.

The CrossClimate2 are excellent all-season tires. In fact, putting their all-weather capability aside, they're simply excellent even as far as 3-season tires go. So think of them as premium 3-season tires with extra winter capability.

Our old Yaris came with Bridgestone RE92s which were TERRIBLE. After putting Michelin Defenders on it, it was at least moderately tolerable at speed.

Michelin is trash. Last tires rated 90000 miles last only 32000 on my car. NEVER EVER more Michelin.
I switched to Continental. Much better, quieter and long lasting.
