You can use motul 7100. Got it from the service center itself. Bike is slightly smoother and heating is also well controlled with motul

I change mine every 5k irregardless of whatever Toyota says. Oil changes are cheap insurance to your engine if you intend to keep it for the long term.

On 2006 F800S i have used Ravenol. I tried Shell, BMW oil(Shell, basically) and Ravenol. With Ravenol- no false neutrals. At stops i was able to find neutral almost instantly... And engine sounds somewhat "greasy"

I'm not trying to put down LiquiMoly as a brand, but SAE is SAE. Now I wouldn't choose like a cheapo store brand, but big brands like Valvoline, Pennzoil, Mobile, those are all gonna be pretty much just as effective at completing the job they were designed to do.
I have a slow oil leak (something like a quart every 1,500 miles). Dealer quoted just under $3,000 for the fix when it was 17 years old with 110,000 miles. I'll just buy the occasional quart of oil.
