My WEN, brand new out the box, would always require a shot of starter spray, take 5 or 6 hearty pulls, and ran rough. Pulled the plug and the stock is a Torch!!! I installed an NGK and it cranks on the 2nd pull and runs smooth as silk.

BP7ES here. Starts right up every time. Torch plugs suck.
The new ignition switch is in. The spark plug wires are Bosch copper and now have the Bosch super 3 ground electrode plugs installed. So with a fresh ignition switch that eliminated the odd electrical changes we were seeing in the dash lights, now stronger cranking and it does run better.
used the laser iridium NGK spark plugs. No issues!!
I've had perfectly fine luck with aftermarket coils, 4 years 2 cars no faults. I'm running factory RS7 plugs, I forget if they were NGK or Denso, but they are 1 heat range colder. Working fine with stage 2.
Some people swear by the Brisk plugs, but I'd spend that coil money on either the Denso or NGK plugs that EQT recommends.
I learned this after installing Bosch plugs in a Honda many moons ago. Japanese cars like Japanese-designed plugs.
My brand new out-the-box WEN 3500 would barely start until I tossed the Torch and replaced it with an NGK. It now runs as designed. Too many others have had similar issues and that's why Torch is widely regarded as junk.
I hate ngk ngl my sparks were corroded as hell using ngk, I swapped over to Apr sparks since I’m tuned by them and they work amazing.
