The Hutchinson Griffus R-lab gravity casing was good for me. I used the 2.4 on the back. I feels quite similar to the dhr II in how it grips. I think it rolls a bit faster.

I run a Maxxis Aggressor on the back of my bike and I love it. A DHF up front has loads of grip but the Aggressor has similar side lugs (a little smaller but not much) so the vine still turns well. At the same time, it has smaller center lugs and having swapped a DHR for it, I can certainly tell it rolls better.
I have been quite happy with General RT43's in 185-6014. Good traction - even in the snow.
Since I can't get Michelins in the sizes I run anymore, I've switched to Laufenn (by Hancook). It's German for "runner", they are inexpensive and initial performance is excellent.
I went with the General GMax as05!!!! Let’s hope they are as good as everyone says and that they last for a bit!

They have great traction in the dirt and never de-bead
Continental dws06-plus. Great value. Good tread life and they grip the road when you need it to
Conti PureContact here. Great all seasons, awesome in the rain.
It’s not a good brand but it isn’t the worst.
But with the exception of the general grabbers. Those are some good off road tires for trucks
I forget what there were called, but I had Pirelli snow tires on my previous XC60 and absolutely hated them. Very.. wishy-washy unstable feeling. I replaced them with Blizzaks and will never own another snow tire. The Pirelli was just not as quality as I wanted it to be. Poor life, poor grip, poor dry pavement feel and LOUD.
