Going from the stock 235/45 tires to taller sidewall 225/55 took some harshness out of the ride, which I really enjoy. The tires, being all terrains, have been a huge upgrade in winter and on rough, unpaved roads. Highly recommend if you're into that. I went with Falken Wildpeak AT Trails.
I live in Hungary and i went for the Pirelli sf3 in September and so far is perfect.
I’ve used Continental (very good), Hankook (good), Goodyear (good - worse handling in summer than Conti but excellent in winter, higher wear).
Hankook feels very soft, but good, I prefer the SF3 for the feel and equally good is the Conti.
I use all season Nokian Seasonproof 2 for driving around Europe. This year it was quite a harsh winter in Poland and I couldn't be happier with their performance.
All that carbon fiber to make it light and easy to flick into corners - yet bro's never been past 15° lean. Waste of good rubber.
17k miles no problems, only thing is the OEM pirellis (if you get the 22s) will only last 15-20k miles with some spicier driving.
Erm, Pilot Sport 3???\n\n\u00a0TF? That tyre is ancient; Michelin replaced the Sport 3 with the Sport 4 in 2016. The current one is the Sport 5 (2022)
I just took delivery of a 26 Model Y Performance. It has 21 inch wheels with rubber bands for tires. It took 6 hours and 100 miles before I hit a pothole and dented the rim and split the tire sidewall. Crap!
