My impression was (recommended by many) this specific seller had everything OEM, water pump was the correct Aisin one.

RockAuto Aisin with the logos ground off. That’s when you know it’s the real deal.
Aisin only. It's the Oem.
The original water pump will most likely last the entire lifespan of the car. The only water pumps that fail are the aftermarket ones. If you still feel the need to replace it, I would only recommend an oem pump.
You'll need to keep an eye on the coolant bottle level, the water pump has been known to leak and need replacement.
I checked the old water pump and took it out by removing the front plate of the engine... The old water pump moves fine but it does make a squeaking noise and is quite old however it does move.
The 3.5 engine is garage with this design. Had an Edge from new and out 150,000 miles on it in 13 years. I was always dreading this failure and luckily dodged it before selling it.
Awful design by Ford to put the water pump inside the engine. I almost bought one of these used a few years ago, but backed out after reading about 3-4k jobs to replace a water pump at 180-100k miles.
Pretty sure this is the motor that needs the engine dropped to do waterpump and timing components. Bad bad design
I had an account that had a fleet of these and they got tired of doing the water pumps and I was using oem motorcraft pumps and they wouldnt last, but they never turned these vehicles off.
