Alternator Bosch or OEM Nissan
I bought a good-quality Bosch Reman alternator for my 2012 Mazda and it cost me $128+$75 core ($203) from RockAuto.
I got a Bosch reman (listed as Denso)... so far so good.
90% is the alternator: get a reman Bosch. The "squeaky serpentine belt" is actually the bearings inside the alternator on their last legs.
Check alternator voltage should be above 14V at 1500 RPM. Bosch alternators are crap anymore, I bought a new WAI global alternator, it has strong output so far. Only time will tell if it holds up.
I installed a Bosch re-manufactured unit. Under $200. It has a 24 month warranty and roadside assistance included.
Aftermarket units from Bosch and other are about $300.
Bought a new bosch alternator and installed it.
I'm swapping my 90a Valeo alternator for a remanufactured Bosch one. (Which actually says Valeo on it but has a Bosch part number and came in a Bosch box.)
I've gone through 3 Nissan Value Advantage Alternators (through the Infiniti dealership - warranty) for my Q. All Infiniti offers for my year (2015) are Remanufactured Alternators. I'm tired of Remans.
I bought an aftermarket bosch alternator, (new not refurbished) and after installing the pulley to 80NM (black part), I noticed a wobble and a brushing sound. The original alternator does not have this brushing sound.
