Brake pads Bosch or OEM Nissan
I just put Zimmerman rotors and Bosch pads on my front end for ~$400. Worth every penny.
Check Rockauto. I replaced my brakes about 2 years ago with Dynamic Friction Geospec coated rotors and Bosch quiet cast pads. Still in great condition and stops on a dime.
Maintenance has been 4x brake pads, 2x rotors, 4/5 sets of tires. Air filters yearly, oil changes every 7k miles.
I went with Bosch pads this time on OEM rotors.
I swear by Bosch quietcast. I’ve done cheap brands before but seem to squeak, fade, or make too much dust.
Bosch brake pads are good for me in my performance pack.
Had one 2023 with 31k miles and so far so good , yet the one about the brakes exhaust early is true , maybe you need to change them once every year
I have the 2023 Rockcreek edition, and at 60,500 KM and regular maintenance, no problems to report. Had to do one wheel alignment so far, and change the brakes both front and back at around 48,000 KM which was the only problem. They need bigger brakes. But I also pull twice a year a trailer for vacations which is almost 4000 lbs. so i guess it might be normal.
But overall I’m happy with it.
If im being completetly honest. A nissan gtr nismo. I had a track day for my highschool graduation, the breaks on it didnt feel the best.
I recently replaced all the brake pads on my 2020 brz performance package, and it now squeals way more than before and has a noticeable clunk when pressing the brake pedal especially after reversing. I got Bosch Ceramic QuietCast pads from Rockauto, used ceramic lubricant on the back of the pads and all contact surfaces, and silicone lubricant on the pins. Once I apply a good amount of pressure to the brakes, they're very quiet for awhile but eventually start squealing again. Also I did do the bedding process and it didn't change anything, plus that wouldn't stop the clunking.
