Cabin filter OEM Toyota or K&N
Take it to a Toyota dealership and change your own cabin filter (it's the easiest thing to do)
Has anyone bought k&n cabin air filter. Wonder how well they work
2023 Badlands and I love it…. Currently at 22k and just replaced the air and cabin filters with K&N it was fun ????
I got K&N cabin air filter and I'm so happy with it. This is reusable, washable and lasts easy for 80k miles
I've found K&N cabin filters are great as for the rest you need to run quality, especially your air filter since there are several bulletins about them and they changed the part because of P0299 popping up a lot.
Personally I already changed my stock battery to an AGM and will be installing a washable K&N Cabin Air filter when its next due.
Oh and there was evidence of a rodent’s nest in the cabin filter.
I can tell you for sure the K&N flows better. the new stock filter definitely made me crank the knob up for more fan speed. the flip side is that the K&N does NOT do a good job actually filtering anything the size of sand or smaller. you will also be able to smell every molecule of exhaust and exterior air using the the K&N. stock filter helps reduce the scent of "outside"
This happened to us with 2023 sienna after a dealers oil change !!! It turns out that they didn't close air intake filter cabin correctly. We were drive up to Canada at the time. We had to stop time to time to stop the warning. Check the air filter cabin and make sure it secure.
And somehow its 50 to 70 bucks or whatever to change the cabin filter but they already took it out to show me and they put it back.... which is why I change oil myself....
