Engine oil ELF or Motorcraft
Motorcraft 100% Pure Synthetic Oil and motorcraft filter.
I use 5W-30 Motorcraft
I'm using motorcrack 15 40 in my 3.0 Taurus. It's been great for years
Full synthetic Motorcraft for my Shelby, Roush, SHO, and Focus 1.0 ecoboost.
Ford performance oil filter for the Shelby. Motorcraft for the others.
Why? I had a Ford tech tell me any and all problems they'd ever seen with a Shelby engine involved one that used non-Motorcraft brand in engine or filter.
I run 10w30 motorcraft because my 300 doesn't dry start as bad with it
Só compro óleo original na concessionária e da Motorcraft conforme manual.
switch to 5w20 as according to fords bulletin for oil, i been using motorcraft synthetic blend for 26 yrs
'17 f150 5.0l with 150k running 5w-20 motorcraft. Not a single problem and this was used to haul a 12' steel enclosed trailer loaded from day 1 and the wind blows a LOT here. Doesnt use a drop of oil.
Now, I realized that the engine oil the mechanic put on when I got the camshaft replaced in november, is actually meant for cars. The oil is the ELF sporti TXI 10W40.
and the dealership where it got changed used 5w 20 motocraft they sell ford and thing of tht nature im pretty sure its to thin and wasnt synthetic
