Engine oil LIQUI MOLY or AMSOIL
Yes this is proper. If deleted don’t worry too much about the 507, i believe 505 will still work. Afaik the euro spec for Pennzoil is about the ash levels. I usually put in liquimoly 4200, but i was an awful amout low between changes when i checked last so I got 5 litres of this for 40 bucks canadian which was a steal. Topped it off and no problems.
I use Liqui Molly - which has the Volvo-required spec - purchased through FCP Euro. Hope that helps.
My T/A 392 has seen 311°F. ????. I added a bigger oil cooler after that.
I was running 0w40 Amsoil Signature, no metal in the filter.
In my A4 2.0T I use 4qts of Liqui Moly 5w40 and 1qt of Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Treatment.
Liquimoly is only oil you should be running in your turbo vw
For best performance use liqui moly 5w30. I have also used it recently in my japanese alto with above 100K km.
I'm a loyal Amsoil user. I usually change my oil every 5k miles. However, 3 oil changes ago, I started sending samples to Blackstone.
First Analysis: paraphrased, engine looks great
Second Analysis 5k miles later: Engine Looks great, Oil still has plenty of life
Third Analysis, another 5k miles later: everything looks great, try waiting 8k between oil changes.
I just put Amsoil High Mileage, 0w20 in my 2012 Camry to see if it will benefit my engine with 221,000 on it. I switched from Mobil 1, which I used for years changing at 5K intervals, but had to keep topping off very often. The engine flush was excellent, the oil I drained only had 1500 miles on it and it came out looking like liquid coal! So a cleaning did take place, I'll see how it goes.
I have a 14 Passat. I do full synthetic LiquiMoly with the VW spec. I change it out every 6-6500 miles.
I did have a 1982 diesel Jetta go 435,000 miles on oem int. shaft bearings. I had access to a lot of free Amsoil back then....so, that may have helped. However, I think it over-lubed the cylinder walls though. Rings weren't exactly what you would call 'tight.'
