Engine oil LIQUI MOLY or OEM Honda
I use 5w30. First time used Castrol, now I use Liqui Moly. Both worked great, the second one is cheaper in my country which is awesome because I’m changing the oil every 5k.
I change my oil between the service changes and use a indy shop. They charge $125 for liquid moli.
Liquimoly every 5k miles. I think keeping up with the maintenance and using good oil is the only reason this motor is still going.
Liqui Moly is a good oil. I use that in my BMW/VW.
The Rotella T4 isn‘t officially sold here in Europe. I use Liqui Moly touring high tech. It still got high ZDDP (>1200ppm). And it‘s also quite cheap.
Liqui Moly Special Tec w/ MoS2. 1K miles in, it’s quiet.
I use only LM 6200 0-20w and change oil every 5k or 6 months without fail on my 21 GLI. VG oil, keeping good clean oil in these engines best thing you can do to avoid issues. 55k and still runs like new no mods
I will also vouch for liqui moly. Always liked it, ran a blackstone sample test at like 8000 miles on one of my old cars and the results I got were basically "Extremely low wear, run it like another 5k theres plenty of life left in this oil" so I've never run anything else since.
Op I was told by mechanic from liqui moly that this engine oil was the best for pick up
Liquid Moly Molygen 5W-30, haven't had any issues in the 22k plus miles I've been using it
