Engine oil Mobil or OEM Honda
I use Mobil ESP VW507.00 5w30, which is on the approved oil list and I buy for $30 when it goes on sale at Canadian Tire.
I put Mobil 1 4 Stroke Synthetic into my Ninja 250. Honestly, any reputable brand 10W-40 oil will do if you change it routinely.
If you on a budget, Mobil 1 oil is great. If you want the best, Look up AMS oil. Expensive but worth it.
Been putting Mobil 1 in my BMWs for decades, 0w40 year round here in the pacific northwest.
Mobil 1 is good oil and 5 quarts is like $23 before rebates.
I use the 0w40 Mobil 1 European Formula. It\u2019s great and it\u2019s cheap and you can find it literally anywhere. I get mine for $22 for 5qt from Walmart.
Mobil 5w-40 has absolutely been quieter for me than the Castrol equivalent.
I'm at 80,300 miles, original owner and I just changed the oil, first time I tried Mobil 1 ESP 5w-30 502.00 504.00 507.00 and the old R is idling quieter than ever, previously I was getting some slight timing chain noise but now its gone.
Used mobil-1 on my 2015 corolla for 156k miles zero issues. Have used Mobil-1 0w-20 on my 2018 Camry for 65k miles and this point I have had no metal deposits for the whole duration.
I was using Mobil 1 fully synth 5w40 on my old cab with no problem at all. good pressure at idle and at 2k. I used this oil in my new cab (same engine) and boom! No oil pressure at for the first 15 secs. Then it immediately jumped to 5 bars and finally settled down to 1 bat maybe less. However, I saw a dramatic increase in oil pressure even with the 5W40 mobil 1 when I switched to a 2L oil pump. Idle pressure was arround 2bars. Although I used it last summer and it worked just fine throught my vacations in Greece.
