I have a 2015 Tacoma 4-cylinder stick shift 52,000 mi. I bought it new. The only maintenance I had to do was oil changes and I go underneath with a grease gun and grease all the fittings along the axle.
The 508 spec gets you better mpg and less dirty emissions. Gotta look at the bottle carefully. Mobil ESPX2 0w20 has that spec.
262k miles here on an M54B30 with 10k changes, Mobil 1, it's running great.
It should be fine. I use Mobil 1 and it's worked great.
I use Mobil one in Canada when it goes on sale synthetic 0W20 10 k intervals 13 yr old corolla 1.8 and 15 yr old tundra 5.7 350 k and 320 km ; no oil consumption work great
You must use Mobil 1 0W40!
Go for 5W40 rating. They work the best for all BMW diesel engines. I’d recommend the Mobil 1
Both are good, the high mileage and the restore and protect. I personally run Mobil 1 high mileage full synthetic with a wix filter and it has been great for me.
Just hard to read with fresh oil. 0-16 was impossible to read on the dipstick when new in my 2022 Camry. Even my 2011 Corolla is hard to read.
Mobil 1 for me is like water in this car. I ran it for the longest time till I was tuned but switched over
