Engine oil Shell or MOTUL
Just changed my oil @ 2k with Rotella T6. Sounds much quitters and feels a lot smoother. I've always used this and it's a damn good oil.
I've decided to buy the Motul 8100 X-Clean 5W-40 for my first oil change. It's fully synthetic, low SAPS and has a high shearing tolerance. Even the TBN is relatively decent.
Absolutely. Great oil for your car.
I have noticed my car is "running better" with the Rotella, and i have not had to top it off at all compared to running Motul 5w40 i had to add quite a bit over my OCI.
I've done 3 OCIs with this T6 Rotella; LOVE it!
For my 2004 VW Golf TDI(125,000 miles) I use Shell Rotella 5w-40 Full Synth.
based on oil analysis done by some members I been using rotella synthetic 5-40 ever since I got the car 7 yrs ago.. while not a group 4 oil it does the job and I aint spending $8 a quart in oil for a regular car opcorn:
I'm using Rotella T6 5w40 in my car. For the money, it's one of the better buys for oil since it holds up so well. It's got good additives that don't shear down quickly, decent amounts of zinc and phosphorus, and it works in just about anything - cars, trucks, diesels, bikes with wet clutches, etc.
rotella t6 5w40 diesel oil. nothing else.
I run Motul in my 05' GLI and its amazing. Motul doesnt break down like other oils its good stuff
