Engine oil Shell or PENNZOIL
I use Pennzoil Platinum after FordBossMe turned me onto it and did some (quite detailed) review videos covering it versus the other ones such as Mobil1 and Valvoline
Pretty much as soon as I switched to Pennzoil Platinum (the one made from natural gas) my engine ***suddenly*** got noticeably quieter. Previously with the Mobil1 it was making faint clicking/lifter noise during the first few minutes of driving
Starts are quieter too, with the Mobil1 it made some light clatter/metallic-y noises on those very first 1-3 seconds of startup, but now with the Pennzoil Platinum it purrs up smoothly from the moment I turn the key
I only use Rotella T6 in all 6 of the cars at my house.
I use Pennzoil Platinum Full Synthetic in my 21 Forester. $23 for 5qt from Walmart and $12 oil filter from dealership.
Project farm did a bunch of tests on all popular oil brands and amsoil won followed closely by pennzoil ultra platinum. The pennzoil is easier to get so that’s what I use on all my cars.
I've used Rotella T6 in literally all of my bikes since 2017 because it is cheap and has JASO MA2, it is deisel oil.
I like running pennzoil euro platinum 5w40.
I've been running rotella t6 4w40 in my 81 cb750c for the past 15 years. I also use it in every other bike I own or have serviced and my 4 wheeled vehicles.
I use Rotella T6 5w40 in all my vehiciles. It's a quality oil that works well for everything I own from mechanical turbo diesel to motorcycles to big blocks.
something you might consider is switching to Shell Rotella T6 5w-40.
you can find many testimonies to the benefits of using T6.
I've been running Pennzoil Ultra Platinum in mine for a while now, and it's done me well. Just hit 200k miles on the odometer last week, so no issues there. Run a good oil filter (I prefer Wix XP) and good oil and you're fine.
