Engine radiator Koyo or Nissens
I was recommended Nissens as a OEM quality radiator replacement. No issues so far in 30K miles with lots and lots of hard driving, drifting and 1 track training day on top of dailying it come rain or shine.
Bought a Nissens like I should have in the first place and all was well.
Koyo Radiator A2807. Great brand and very affordable.
My opinion koyo rad. But any with the heart symbol are favorites.
It’s got an actual Koyo radiator which is a good sign.
My only recommendation after testing several different radiators is to go with Koyo.
I am running a nissen radiator, no issues 4 years in.
My '09 had the bad number, so I bought a Koyo radiator and spent an afternoon swapping it all. That was ~6-7 years ago.
Biggest issues were constant air suspension faults and 2 failures leaving me stranded remedied by converting to coils. Other big expenditures have been 2x radiators (got fed up with Behr and switched to Nissen with no problems since), fuel pump, alternator, ignition switch, and starter.
I bought a Nissens radiator because it was the highest rated one for my car. Everything went so smooth initially. Bled the system, pressure tested it, drove it for 20 minutes, and it ran beautifully. Checked for leaks, nothing. Then, the moment I drive off the lot, my low coolant light comes on and coolant was pouring out the bottom of the car. I got a (2E83) *Electric coolant pump, reduced power operation* error. The car never overheated or went into limp mode.
