Headlights OEM BMW or OEM Chevrolet
I have a 2020 and my headlights are great. Windshield has 55% tint and have no problems seeing at night on a country road with no street lights
I thought the same but for some reason they were aimed a little low from the factory so I just google how to set the lights properly and adjusted the beam to spec and wala, some of the best lights I have had on a car. Highly recommend you try that.
If it's still functional, remove it, dry the interior carefull with a heat gun and apply a silicon clear sealant around the headlight-- where the black and clear plastic meet. Put everything back together.
I’ve had both a pre-facelift M3 and LCI M3 CS. Honestly they are both great and I think the LCI is a nice new interpretation of the halos. Alternatively, I don’t think the pre-LCI needed a new interpretation. Either way, they are both better than newer version, which still look to me like they are upside down.

I have preface lift and planning to upgrade, the chrome is the biggest problem with pre-LCI, cars don't don't have blacked out headlights look dated after a while.
The car has been amazing except for one thing, the headlights. I can't see ANYTHING at night. I've adjusted the headlights a few times and they are aimed correctly, but the output is so dim that it the only noticeable things are streets signs or other things with that reflective matetial/coating. It makes me nervous to drive, to the point where I will upgrade to anothet car if I can't find a solution.
BMW does it now as well. Headlight went out. 3300 part another 3000 labor. Found a replacement. And was told it won’t work unless dealer programs it but dealer won’t program unless we buy new from them.
The headlights look like they’re in shock all the time. The only part I’m not a fan of this car.
My BMW 2020 X7 lease is up and I’d like to do a lease buyout. My right headlight is cracked and BMW won’t repair it. Can I still do a lease buyout with the damaged headlight or will I be charged for that? BMW gave me a repair cost of almost 9k.
