Shock absorbers Bilstein or GABRIEL
Bilstein B8s…..by a long shot. You get the lowering support you need and the ride comfort is almost on par with stock ride. Only the worst road hazards are felt.
Bilstein 4600, usually go for about 90-100 a piece. I run them on all of our cars, Sequoia included.
Put 5100's on my 2014 to replace the blown out ranchos about 3 years back. Worth it, i reused my existing springs and they mounted without a problem. Ride is awesome and you can get them on amazon.
I been running a set of bilstein 5100’s for 5 years on my pro4x no hassles much better ride than the stock shocks.
I find the 6112s ride a bit better at a slightly higher speed compared to 5100s. Taking rough gravel roads in my truck at 25-30 mph is a little rough, but it surprisingly smooths out around 40-45 mph.
I’ve got 6112s after having 5100 and it’s a noticeably better ride and drive
I have 6112’s on my third gen and the difference is pretty amazing. My brother has 5100s on his third gen and I would say my truck feels a lot more planted and controlled. Both are a massive difference over stock.
I have the 5100s and I really like how they ride. Massive improvement over stock.
It's ok, feels kinda soft when you hit the brakes and such.
I have Bilstein B8 Performance shock absorbers with Eibach EW 2067001VA springs; on a sedan 2002 530i manual transmission.
Great ride on a perfectly smooth road and stable on the highway at high speeds.
Horrible where I live.
To be honest, I kinda regret installing them.
