Shock absorbers Bilstein or OEM Volkswagen
I replaced my Limited’s stock suspension with Bilstein 5100’s at 65k myself...the truck rides great on and off road now, literally no downsides.
I have a 2002 Yukon with a leveling kit and Bilstein 5100 all around. The ride is way better like Gorilla said. It feels lighter and takes the bumps very smooth
I've been running Bilstein 4600's on my 04 Titan(Stock Height) for almost two years already.Though its not driven everyday of the week,I drive it casually and the shocks and struts have been holding up well. They're a tad stiff, but overall still comfortable for street and highway driving. And they feel stronger than many other Titans I drove with oem.
I put 5100s on my 2007 Titan back in 2016, and they still ride great.
I put 5100s on my GX. Very pleased. I’d call it a nice balance of comfort/sport.
Bilstein are the best bang for the buck.
5100s were inexpensive and an easy upgrade that totally changed the driving character of the truck on and off road.
Bilstein 5100s with proper travel (measure your old ones) then send them into Bilstein and give them your Jeep specs and what you use it for and they will tune them for you for free (you cover the shipping).
My suspension progression has been S-line stock -> Euro S-line springs on stock dampers -> Bilstein PSS10 -> Ohlins R&T with Euro springs. I did like a lot of aspects of the Bilsteins, but they are just a little too harsh for me on uneven pavement around town
B4s are garbage don’t listen. Mine blew in about 2 years.
