Spark plug Bosch or NGK
My 99 NB 2.0 came with those 3-prong NGK's. Worked fine for the recommended 40k miles
I have had exellent results and will probably run nothing but them
I've had luck with Bosch Platinum+4, and also Denso Iridium plugs. My advice to you is just stay away from the cheap stuff. Like "Wally's discount Spark plugs." Stock wires do just fine with any plug for your car.
i needed to upgrade, all i could get my hand on were the Bosch Platinum 4's and im highly pleased. I noticed the very meager difference immediately when it came to the power. Also, i noticed a marginal difference in the gas mileage as well.
Seem like almost everyone here go for the stock plugs. Bosch W6DPO. I'd just got mine, no need for gap as it good to go from the box. The electrodes face each other horizontally instead of typical vertical that we normally see on other plugs for other cars.
OK it is now monday and I changed the plugs on friday I tested the power this weekend and it seems like it was the spark plugs..... The power I had lost was to much after I changed the plugs I felt the difference....... NGK platinums are the sh*t.......
NGK a little bit pricey but well worth it.
i just installed the factory NGK's... love'em , a little pricey though
Go with a normal plug (I run NGK) and stock wires. Oh, a lot of the hype about the Plat-4 is just that...hype. The spark is going to follow the path of least resistance. Meaning, its only going to go to one electrode at a time. Well, maybe if your engine fouls plugs, but otherwise, just get a set of OE Replacement NGK's.
I always been using Bosch Silvers on my car, but don't last very long.
