Spark plug Denso or AC DELCO
I have 2.0TFSI coils and new Denso IK22's. So the only other thing that would effect all cylinders is the coil pack harness? What do you guys think?
After switching to the densos IK22 @ .035 it was that "night and day" difference some others are claiming.
Just replaced mine with Denso Iridiums, seems to be doing good.
I have always used the denso iridiums for big turbo use. They are a bit cooler then the BKR7E, and they last forever, no fiddling around with plugs. I even have had the head off the car and left the same damn plugs in it lol. Ya, they are more expensive, but I like the convenience of just never touching them.
ive put new denso oem spark plugs and im waiting on my coil packs to come in from ecs tuning and i hope that will fix my problem
I had really good experiance with Denso Iridium on my mk3 2.0 and mk4 12v.
Turns out the AutoLite plugs that a local parts store sold me are crap for this engine (actually caused misfires) so I went and got Denso double platinum plugs the next day and put those in.
I decided to go with the Denso Iridium Spark Plugs Part # 5304#4 and am VERY happy with them. My car runs better than it ever has. These plugs were a little expensive but still less than what the dealer wanted for OEM plugs. I definitely recommend them!
Been using the desno IK24's with a .32 gap. Works very well but that plug is a tad to cold. Runs a tad rough untill I get her warmed up.
Just be careful with the Denso plugs. Denso has the gap specified incorrectly in the database so the gap is larger than they should be. It'll run but my cause to long term problems such as coilpack failure.
