Spark plug NGK or Autolite
Ignition system overhaul (spark plugs, wires ignition coils), a new starter like the one on amazon is a nice bandaid.
I just tossed some oem NGKs for the first time since... 30k miles, and they seem to be the best plugs I've ran, although they are not a step colder as recommended.
I ordered (from Rock Auto) some NGK spark plugs (#95463) advertised as being "OE Series." This supposedly means they are built to match the OE specifications.
I just replaced the spark plugs on my 2014 Cadillac ELR(essentially a gen 1 volt). My ELR has 81000 miles on it. It still had the factory plugs. One of the plugs was leaking compression as seen in the photo. If you have a first gen volt or an ELR, if the plugs have never been changed, it won't hurt to take a look at them. I replaced them with NGK 94279 spark plugs.
My wife has a 700ckx Heritage 2022 model. She has been riding for over 20 years. Bought this bike because of seat height and price point. Used almost every day for commuting. She just hit 40k's with no issues. We did change the plugs for NGK and swapped out the pipe. Also added a Scott's oiler for the chain. She loves it.
NGK Iridiums are what I run and never had a problem
If you’re asking about brands, I always go NGK. They’re definitely my preference. They have a coating on the threads and don’t require grease when you install. And they come pre gapped.
I changed my own with about 50 US in tools. Its a pain to do without dropping the motor down which i didn't do.It took me about 3 hrs for 4 plugs. Replaced with nkg plugs at about 25 each. I have the tools and know how but I'd probably pay someone 500 dollars to not do it again. It was an eye opening experience.
Be careful where you buy your plugs. There are counterfeit NGK plugs out there. I found out the hard way. I purchased off of Amazon. Mine melted before I could even get a mile in to my session.
Velas NGK, nunca use Bosch, terá problemas.
