Spark plug NGK or BRISK
NGk is a far better brand and what's recommended in Honda . Leave the champions for your lawn mower.
I love my brisk spark plugs from EMS. Definitely better for me than the NGKs I ran. Last longer and don’t open up as fast.
a good set of ngk plat irids will easily last 100k if the engine is kept up in all other regards, possibly longer.
Bro I changed the spark plugs on my VA wrx and I have very little mechanical experience. It’s super easy all you gotta do is remove the battery to make a little room to get them out. Get ngk ones and you will save like 400 bucks right there
I typically run the NGK Iridium plugs. Plug number: BPR6EIX I have run them for a long time and I love them. I messed around with different heat range plugs but for a stock alternative, I love them
I’ve replaced them alone (i’m not a tech, i am not even a beginner).
NGK plugs, 60 euros bought online, some tools i already owned, and I struggled with the spark plug socket, found it at a tech friend, the thing is that is necessary to be thin and i needed to borrowed a torque wrench. Half an hour of work.
Spark plugs took me 2 hours max to do myself. And it’s because I’m OCD so I was cleaning and taking my time. And it cost me $60 for the 4 plugs OEM NGK compared to $30 each at the dealer. Very easy to do.
I just got whatever the NGK equivalent was of the Denso IK22. One step colder works great on my car considering it gets thrashed. Comes up to temp extremely fast which helps fuel economy.
I pulled Denso plugs out of my truck and put NGKs in. Is there a difference? Maybe... But experience with Japanese industrial equipment says that Japanese engines like OE ignition components. NGKs are cheap and readily available.
I did buy 3 set ngk iridium from ebay for several vehicles and they are all fake . it misfire and destroy coil too...as soon as took the out the tip of the plugs worn out to the bone...
