KYB Strut assembly

Shocks, struts, and strut parts: I always recommend the premium option for suspension parts. The system actually says that subtly. Typically that's the KYB brand.

Pros: premium option

The front I also got KYB struts. No issues with fitment but I needed to rent an extra set of spring compressors as the front coils were thicker more difficult to compress.

Pros: no issues with fitment
Cons: difficult to compress

KYB Strut assembly

KYB is OE on a Toyota. I have used these on several cars without an issue. They might be a little stiff at first.

Pros: no issues
Cons: a little stiff

KYB Strut assembly

The new struts are KYBs and the old struts looked factory. The car just looks to be sitting higher now with the new struts in?

Cons: sitting higher

GABRIEL Strut assembly

There are some cheaper models available from Monroe and Gabriel but I've used both on customer cars and been very unimpressed. They felt harsh immediately and were clunking within 10k miles.

Cons: felt harsh, clunking
Mileage: 10000 km
