I mean one of the first things I did on my Golf R was.... better rubber and it really did transform the car.(FYI... highly recommend the newish Bridgestone Potenza Sports). I guess the other point is.. don't skimp on tires. Pay for what you get.
My Mazda3 OEM tires were BRIDGESTONE
TURANZA EL440, and they worked amazingly and lasted for a full 50k miles.
The Alenza is way better than the ecopia tires. Go with those.
I have Ecopia. Drive is comfortable and the tire lasted.
I have the HL alenza plus and they have been great
I just replaced my Mazama Reputations with these awesome tires. My car is a 2017 Jeep Cherokee High Altitude 4x4. These tires are grippy, have good response characteristics with good road feel. The Mazamas were a very rough ride in comparison. This Jeep feels like a luxury ride now. Not feeling all the little bumps and road jarring. Just smooth, quiet and grippy. I'm impressed. It's like driving a new car.
I worked for Bridgestone before. They make decent tires. Indy 500 and Destination lineups are great tires.
Did a quick look up on the tires, they’re Bridgestone alensa 001’s, which are a street/sport truck summer tire with a 300tw rating…looking at almost 2k for a new set
I have found it quite hard to predict, but Bridgestone were extremely noisy for me. Then I had Michelin which were slightly quieter but still didn't satisfy me completely.
The problem is that the more aggressive the snow [tires] the noisier they were. After 4 seasons on Blizzaks I was ready to burn them.
