Tires BRIDGESTONE or KENDA
Bridgestone, best on wet from the bunch and durable tyre, allaround great.
I decided to give the Kenda K270s a shot and first impression was that they're not great on street, braking is much worse compared to the shinkos and I got a bit of wobble/instability over 65mph. Finally got to try them on dirt and WOW. They are incredible on the trail. Very confidence inspiring compared to the shinkos.
The Bridgestones i just put on a week or 2 ago for this season so I don't know the life span on them yet but wet weather was decent (atleast now that they are brand new).
New old stock Potenza Race available for $562 per set after rebate: https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Bridgestone&tireModel=Potenza+Race&partnum=335YR9PRXLOS&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes
I got them in 225/45R17 for my Golf wagon and actually received 2023 dated tires even though they were advertised as 2022.
Kenda Vezda lasts way, wayyyyyy longer, like longer than RS4's longer
Eu uso os Bridgestone Turanza e adoro simplesmente!
i think so far quite solid one for me is the bridgestone potenza. quite grippy in wet weather also. not top of the line spec but quite bang for the buck
I got weatherpeak 2.5 years ago, and about 31k on them now. Now the thread is about 3/32nd left. Rotated at every 5-7k. Good in snow but so so in wet pavement. Very smooth and quiet even now with such a thin thread left. But very disappointed with the wear.
2 years ago I paid 460 euros for 4 Bridgestone so 260 Euros for two landfill (pun intended) tyres is very expensive.
I was looking for a change from the RE003 which was fairly hard riding and not great in the wet
