But for A/T and H/T tires, I have been using Bridgestones for the longest time now.
I chose the Bridgestone weatherpeaks for my 21 forester. They were great in the rain on the highway and on dry gravel/dirt roads.
Bridgestone winter tires are better quality than the Firestone Winter Force unless you're looking to have them studded.
Like the Bridgestone Turanza 6 is pretty damn good, it's probably the best summer touring tyre on the market right now. Comfort and low noise typical of a touring tyre, with performance approaching a UHP.
I mean one of the first things I did on my Golf R was.... better rubber and it really did transform the car.(FYI... highly recommend the newish Bridgestone Potenza Sports). I guess the other point is.. don't skimp on tires. Pay for what you get.
My Mazda3 OEM tires were BRIDGESTONE
TURANZA EL440, and they worked amazingly and lasted for a full 50k miles.
The Alenza is way better than the ecopia tires. Go with those.
They are lovely road tires. For anything off-road? Not so much.
I have found it quite hard to predict, but Bridgestone were extremely noisy for me. Then I had Michelin which were slightly quieter but still didn't satisfy me completely.
The problem is that the more aggressive the snow [tires] the noisier they were. After 4 seasons on Blizzaks I was ready to burn them.
