Tires BRIDGESTONE or MRF
Blizzacks are the best.
I went from the stock Primacy to Bridgestone Potenza sports (300tw) and the difference in grip is absolutely noticeable and worth it.
I just replaced my stock Dunlop with Bridgestone Turanza 6 three days ago and they felt great.
For winter tires I'm using Bridgestone Blizzak WS90.
I have Bridgestone Blizzaks.
I got myself bridgestone blizzak lm005 winter tired, so far no complains.
Went with Bridgestone RE-71RS set. Paid $950 USD for set of four from Tire Rack in October and paid to have them heat cycled by them.
So far: 1198 street miles, 4 days of Autocross with 46 runs on them.
The Bridgestone A005 is less highly regarded in the snow and more for wet and cold (i.e Scotland), but both are miles and miles clear of a summer tyre in the snow.
TLDR; I had to replace my Bridgestone Weatherpeaks within 5 months and 7,000 miles with 2 tire rotations and balances in between. I opted to go with Michelin instead.
I've had my Mazda 3 turbo for 20k miles now and in that time, 2 of the Turanza tires had sidewall bubbles that compromised them. Not to mention, they are just noisy and feel like they have pretty lame grip. They are not confidence-inspiring at all and suck in the cold.
