Tires BRIDGESTONE or TIGAR
same fxt same blizzaks - cant complain after 5 years of snowmobile like winter performance.
I've got Blizzaks on my WRX and I absolutely love them.
Liked the Blizzaks years ago in unplowed snow, but around here the issue is more slush and ice so partial to various offerings from Continental with more sipes and less aggressive tread pattern.
Blizzaks on my wrx, amazing in the snow and ice, and handle cold like a champ.
I have never been letdown by my RE-71R's! On my second set and never going back to Pilot Sports again.
On our V90 Cross Country, we grabbed a set of 18-Inch - 5-Double Spoke Alloy Wheel - Silver (Part # 31428595), put some Bridgestone Blizzack DM-V2's (235/55R18) on them. Car is rock solid in the snow.
When I was buying my tires, I did a ton of research and narrowed it down to Bridgestone Blizzak and Michelin X-Ice. I ended up getting the blizzaks and they're really awesome, so quiet and extremely effective. I wasn't just looking for a snow tire, but also one that performed well on slush (because Toronto ????). You'd be good on either of these tires.
I have run both blizzaks and ice I have found the Ice last longer and seem to run quieter they are worth the cost
I got some cheap $100 tires and even those are better than the stock Bridgestones
A friend of mine put a set of those on her Mazda5, in 16\". While I didn't find any issues with it not tracking straight, they did wear quickly, and yet somehow had very little traction. I'm talking \"light them up the whole way through an intersection in a stock Mazda5\" levels of non-grip. Garbage tires.
