Tires Continental or MRF
Mines a daily driver and I run continentals for snow and heavy rain. The only way your slipping with them is if your trying to.
I love my Sports. This summer will be my second season on my current set. Only have about 11k on them so far.
The Sports are a phenomenal tire though. They handle my IS38 with ease and boy do they feel amazing in the mountains.
I agree, they are a phenomenal tire that is very well rounded.
continental extreme contact sports after 1 year and 20k milesof hard driving, a pretty great tire if you asked me
I had Continental Extreme Contact Sports on previously and I also really liked those, and they were a good bit cheaper considering the size we gotta use.
Continental Extreme Contact Force looks to be an awesome RS4 alternative. I haven't had a chance to try them yet but by all accounts and reviews they're a little quicker than the RS4 with the same kind of long life and resistance to overheating.
I've been using Continental GP5000's with latex tubes for several years and have had great service out of them. I generally get about 5,000 miles out of a set and might get a puncture every 2,500 miles or so.
I run GP5000 with latex inner. Replaced Michelin Pro 4 Endurance and standard tubes. I find the GP5000 to be super grippy, i run 28c front and back at 80 psi
I have Conti-Extreme Contact DWS06's on her from fall-spring (right now I have summers on.) today the temps were at around 57* and they were most certainly squirrely until they warmed up. They are a good overall tire but they will break loose (both all season and summer) if you have enough HP. they're a good all season tire. but I wouldn't push them to the limits. they are predictable also and I've pushed them in the corners with satisfactory handling.
This weekend I had to pay tire discounters to remove the foam from all 4 of my tires because it was coming off and causing unbalanced tires. These tires aren’t good.
