Tires Falken or OEM Chevrolet
Love my Falken Wildpeak A/T 10ply (had Falken before they were a big name). They have been really good tires, and i keep them rotated every 6k-7k miles. Even wear and still look really good. When these need replaced, i will go with Falken again for sure. They are good for offraod as well, have been in mud that was halfway up the tires, and no issues at all. Plus, they are good on the highway with no road noise (at least mine have no road noise as of yet). They do get stiff in the cold, but thats because they are 10ply. They are good in the snow, and ice is ice.
If the Falkens are that much cheaper go with them, they’re an excellent tire
Another vote for Falken Wildpeaks. I have the AT3ws but they're on the AT4s now I believe. Aggressive looking pattern, great traction in snow, and I used them around my property this past winter hauling firewood and observed great traction in mud, wet grass, dry dirt, anything.
And they're imperceptibly louder than the Cooper highway tires I took off my truck. I was really worried about the noise going to an AT tire but these really aren't bad at all. Once they're wore out I will absolutely be putting another set on.
Falken Wildpeak AT3W. Hands down. No questions, no debates. 35x12.5-20’s on my ‘18 2.7. Bought and installed in FL. Sand, mud, slimy boat ramps, no problem. Drove literally corner to corner across the country to WA. Did winter, no problem. Deep snow, gropple, wet, slick, no problem. So quiet for a tire that size it’s nigh unbelievable, yet here I am blabbering like a child. Did I mention it’s an actual 50k+ mi tire?
I was looking for the same and landed on Falken Rubitrek. Love them. Road noise increased a little bit over the factory all season tires but it was negligible. I did take an MPG hit but that is true of any all terrain tires. I went one size up and 10 ply so unsprung weight went up. Get about 17mpg highway now with my 3.5 EB
Replaced the old Michelins with the Falken Wildpeaks and Wow!!!! The handling is amazing and the traction feels so much better before! The beefier look is also really cool as well!
They came on my 2022 Subaru Ascent. I only have a bit over 18,000 miles on the car. My tires are at 7/32s and I do not drive the car hard and my husband doesn’t either. So far my tires are fine.
I've been happy with the wildpeaks. Mostly street/hwy, occasional adventures, do fine on both.
New tires. Got 63k miles from Toyos, decided to switch to Falken.
I’ve got the Falken Wildpeaks on a 2008 F350 Dually and they’re ok on dry roads. I put them on all seven wheels 6 + the spare) in 2019 and do regular rotations. Today while pulling one to get a slow leak fixed I noticed substantial weather checking down between the lugs; it concerns me, even though it’s been 3.5 years I’m nowhere near the 50,000 miles tread wear warranty. I’ll add these tires really suck in any kind of slick mud and snow/ice on or off the road. Terrible on ice and snow.
