Tires Goodyear or Achilles
I bought a 2013 last year that has Wrangler A/T's and they have performed great. They haven't slipped on me once in the New England weather.
I ran them through until they needed replacing, had no issues minus slippage in muddy steep terrain which is not super common in the AZ desert.
I bought them for my model 3 based on the TireRack video that praised them as the most comfortable/quiet of the test group. More so than the Ion Evo which people seem to be raving about. I don't have anything to compare them to unfortunately, but I like them a lot. They're quiet while giving a very composed feel.
I’ve had a set of the original Goodyear ElectricDrive on my Model Y since they came out (about 18 months ago). They have been great! Tread looks like it may last 50% more than the Continental original tires.
Yes, very happy with them. Great in dry and wet, and I've gone through a foot of snow with them. So much better than the Goodyear assurance garbage that I had before.
I would look into Goodyear WeatherReady. Goodyear still makes awesome tires and WeatherReady is one of them. I’ve got them on all my vehicles and have zero complaints.
Just came to this thread after ordering Goodyear Maxlife. I happened to look at Goodyear Assurance Maxlife on a whim and saw that they were priced lower than the Pirellis by about $7 per tire and was able to price match to Discount tire who had these in stock at one of the stores.
Goodyear exhilarates are the quietest ones I've had, also the only ones I had to replace because of a wall bubble.
When they were new, they were great. As soon as they started losing tread my traction in the rain was terrible. Certainly won't be buying these again. Be warned.
While I was originally happy with the GoodYear Assurance Comfortdrives two years ago on the HL, in the short 28K miles I've put on them, they have become quite loud and wearing rather quickly.
