Tires Goodyear or ADVAN
the tires have been excellent all around. I run touge/mountain roads and I needed predictable cold grip and exceptional grip at temp.
Goodyear related: I remember the F1 dsg3's (IIRC) that were OE on the MK4 GLI 1.8t. being one of the best wet weather tires I had experienced up till that point.
Goodyear Assurance Weather Ready. Liking these tires in the snow.
We have/had Duratracs on (4) of our vehicles currently. 99’ F250, 98’ TJ, 04’ LJ & 14’ JK.
I won’t run another tire unless i get a good reason. Started running them after a guy who owns a snow removal business said they worked better than any other tire on his fleet trucks.
Amazing traction. Great in the snow/ice. (West Michigan) Good tread life. Tough tire offroad.
I live in snowy Canada and it's my first winter running duratrac 3 peaks. So far the grip seems good. I have more confidence in deeper snow and I've been able to drive right up to my dumpster regularly (which is in a difficult to reach location with a 3ft snow bank and 2ft of snow all around).
I ran Nitto SN2 on my old Accord. They don't make them in stock size for my 2018 Sport. I went with Goodyear Winter Command Ultras. They were on sale, available in my size, in stock and had a $100 rebate to boot. So far so good.
9th gen on Goodyear wintercommand. Really like them for the past 40k, I’ll put a new set on next year.
It’s safe to drive, but you should replace them for some quality tires.
My Goodyear eagles that came with my 2022 suck mainly because of how loud they are driving on dry payment.
I believe the eagle sport a/s were the stock tires on our Highlander. They were already at 3/32” at 25k miles. Not exactly stellar.
