Tires Goodyear or Cooper
Put them on my AWD Subaru Assent and with around 8K miles had a 10 inch snow with 12 inch drifts and I drove it in a remote field of snow a good distance and down a remote gravel and paved road with that amount of snow and it was a beast! These tires are quiet and handle really well on my 165 round trip daily commute to work, especially when it's raining....
after I switched to Goodyear Asymmetric 6, I've seen better cold grip and more stability in mid speed corners.
Reviews put them as extremely close performance wise and I haven’t had any issues with them.
I got the quatrac pro + after trying to use the default summer tires last winter and it being basically impossible to get anywhere. So far no regrets at all amd they have done great with the 8 inches of snow and ice we have had.
The "replacement" for these is the Cooper Discoverer Road+Trail AT which is an excellent tire, basically the same as what you have with a few refinements.
I've had Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S tires on my 2019 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 since 2020, specifically because they weren't as aggressive and were severe snow rated. The Coopers did pretty good with this but they've been discontinued so I'm debating getting their replacement or switching to someone else.
Having said that I had AT3 4s tires on my F150, and even at 70k km they still outperformed all season tires.
I got 50,000 on a set of these and never rotated them. They were howling pretty bad because of it, and totally my fault. I went in to replace them and the tire shop said I had plenty of tread to go farther, I just couldn't stand the howl anymore.
I have put less than 30,000 miles on my Goodyear assurance tires and they’re already down to 4.5/32 and replacements have been recommended.
I have a 2015 Dodge Dart and got goodyear reliance tires put on June of 2023 and the center front tires are wearing like crazy. The low end PSI recommendation on the car is 34, and the PSI remains between 28 and 34 consistently. Tires are at the point of almost not passing inspection only in the center front (FWD car) after only 8,000 miles.
