Tires Goodyear or GISLAVED
I just swapped out the OEM Goodyear Assurances with Crossclimate 2's on my brand new '22. Did a 3500 mile road trip with them. They're a little more noisy than the Assurances but otherwise, feels pretty good.
If you hop on TireRack.com and don’t mind getting a Goodyear credit card on the spot, you can get a killer deal on the Goodyear Assurance Weatherready which I think would fit your needs well
Great choice! I did the same and we traveled 27k miles with them so far without issue!
Also the first "modification" I made to my new Rockwood. Goodbye Castle Rock (seriously?) tires and hello Goodyear. I took the wheels to the tire shop myself, the first thing I noticed was how much heavier they were with the new Endurance tires installed. That's gotta mean something as far as reliability, all I know is that the peace of mind was money well spent.
Currently have Goodyear Wintercommands on my '06 Lexus ES. Last ones were Bridgestone Blizzaks. I think I prefer the Goodyears, they handle quite well under acceleration. They were a good price too.
I've had very good experience with Goodyear Weather Assurance tires.
I have Goodyear assurance triple treads on my 97 Town Car. 5 years old and over 100,000 miles also! Almost $400 each but well worth it.
Gislaved is a Continental brand: they are OK-ish tires at best.
My experience with Goodyear is that they are trash.
I bought tires from walmart exactly once. One developed a big bulge in the sidewall after a couple days, one didn't hold air, one had a knock, and they fucked up the weight placement on one so it was hitting my caliper. Never again.
