I’d also recommend the Yokohama Avid Ascend series as a good all season, and the Nokian One (it’s a new tire, I’m running them on my fiancé’s car right now and while they aren’t the quietest, if you’re not a car buff they’ll be perfect for you)
More: Goodyear Eagle Sport tires @ 60K. These are the best overall tires I've ever had. Put them on my Beetle too.
On my work vehicle ( 2011 Ford Escape AWD) studded Nokians.
Goodyear ultra grip, it’s an expensive snow, but damn near the best on my Subaru
On my GTI, I had a set of the Goodyear Eagle Exhilarate. Those were very nice tires. Not too loud, especially for a performance all-season, but very grippy and responsive.
I'm a fan of Nokian WR G4's for year round use. We loved them during our MN winters and enjoyed that we could keep them on all year.
I had a LOT of luck with my Nokian hakka R9s this winter on the LX470, but it's a studded tire. the x-ice were quieter but that's possible due to studs. As of now, I would highly recommend Nokians.
If you want less road noise and smoother ride get some Goodyear assurance comfort drive

I’m at 34k on my 17 and need new tires, so yes seems like a few people on here have similar issues. Worst tires I’ve ever owned.
