They have a bit longer braking distance than the best summer tyres but significantly better than cheaper summer tyres.
i had these tires for close to 85K and still going. I purchased them for $70 a piece and total cost like $360. Pleased with the performance.
I wouldnt trust 11 year old tires with my life. I‘ve had 6 year old goodyears and compared to a new set it was like night and day.
tyre says GY there so i assume thats GOODYEAR brand. 185 GY tyre sells about 200-220 ish new on the market so maybe 50 profit.
Hab auf meinem Ford Fusion Goodyear Vector 4Season (Gen-2, gibt mittlerweile Gen-3) montiert. Grippen meiner Meinung nach gut, auch auf Schnee kein Problem.
All season banden Goodyear Vector Gen3 heb ik goede ervaringen mee. Na 65dkm had ik voor nog 4mm profiel. Achter nog meer (want fwd).
Tirerack has the Goodyear weatherready on clearance for $104 each which is a good deal.
To take your question as face value and recommend an all weather tyre that isn't the WRG5, I would be trying to get the new Goodyear
the Weatherready 2 is one of the worst tires when it comes to fuel economy.
The stock ones on my 23 AWD are not good either. I've kept tire pressure good, not driven it in any funky ways and the tires are at 4/32" at 18k miles.
