I don’t have an S5. I have an A7. I had the Pirelli’s just put the Continental DWS06 Plus on and in my opinion, they ride way better.

Pros: ride way better
Vehicle: Audi A7

Continental Tires

The DWS06s are great all-season tires but are a bit softer of rubber, if you live in the south where its routinely over 100 degrees (even hotter on the pavement) i'd pick something else as a summer tire. I ran them on my 2014 Mustang GT year round and had no issues getting anywhere in the snow.

P.S DWS stands for Dry Wet and Snow and can be determined based off which of those letters are still on how deep the tread is

Pros: great all-season tires, no issues in snow
Cons: softer rubber, not ideal for hot southern summers

I’m at 220k. About 150k were all pilot sports. The ion evos made an immediate impact in sound and efficiency. These are what I will be going forward with on my vehicles from now on.

Pros: immediate impact in sound and efficiency
Mileage: 150000 km

Continental Tires

The factory continentals were, by far, the WORST snow/wet tires I have ever had on a vehicle in 30+ years of driving. Hoping the all-seasons I have now fare better.

Pros: all-seasons fare better
Cons: worst snow/wet tires

My Hankook only lasted 15,000km. Noise was a bit high compared to my DWS06+, but they had really good grip.

Pros: really good grip
Cons: noise was a bit high

Hankook VP4 i had on my IX35 but the rears were deformed after 40-50.000kms, kinda my fault for not rotating the wheels, but i didnt rotate the turanza 5 that i had before them and they held up for 60.000 kms without deforming.

Cons: rears were deformed
Vehicle: Hyundai ix35
Mileage: 50000 km
