Tires Hankook or Cooper
I have Cooper Evolution Winters that are studdable. Huge fan of them and have never gotten stuck in the Wisconsin winters before.
It's hard to beat the Hankook iPike. I've run them on every vehicle I've ever had...only time I've been disappointed is when I tried a different tire.
Because the RS-4 gives you tons of life and doesn't suck
Hankook Ipike for winter, put these on an AWD car and your almost unstoppable in the winter, sloppy handling and like every snow tire get noisier the more miles you put on them.
For something with some level of grip and high durability I suggest Hankook RS4.
If you want good ones but not pay premium price, go for second tier brands Nordman (Nokian), Kleber (Michelin), Firestone (Bridgestone) or Hankook (independent).
Last time I bought tires they were Hankooks. Came 2nd (or something) in a test by Tekniikan Maailma.
My MYP came with Hankook, so far I'm impressed
I bought a pair of HK Ventus Concept 2 for the front of my 2018 Camry over the summer. I’ve been buying this tire in my other beater car & they've held up okay.
If you're just driving on dry pavement, they're ok. They are absolutely horrible on wet pavement (poor grip and hydroplane easy). My daily driver came with them on it new and couldn't wait to get them off.
I'd steer clear of the Cooper Discoverer. I had a set that did not seem to last as long compared to the Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs.
